The nose delivers intense aromas of blackberry, plum, dark cherry and wild berries, enriched by layers of spice, cocoa, leather and subtle vanilla from oak aging. On the palate it is full-bodied and structured, with firm yet refined tannins, rich texture and a long, persistent finish. A bold and complex wine, ideal with roasted meats, game, aged cheeses and hearty Umbrian dishes.
